I can't say enough good things about Rod. He had the best work ethics and knew when and when not to say or talk about certain things. He was a true professional. I have thought about him often in the last few days. even though I miss him, I am certain we will meet again.
Love ya buddy!

I have worked with Rod for many years. Each morning I would be greeted with a smile. Rod was never one to shy away from a conversation. He loved to talk about the news, weather, food, but he especially loved to talk about his daughters and granddaughters. He loved spending time with his family and would always make sure to share the pictures he had of his granddaughters. You are missed Rod. Sending my deepest condolences to his family.

I worked with Rod during my teenage years at K-Mart. Through charisma, hard work and problem solving, Rod left a lifelong impression of good leadership skills that I use today. It was a privilege to work with you, Rod. Rest in peace.

The first time I met Rod was at my wedding to his brother. He was our best man. My sister was maid of honor and wanted to know if she could wear high heels..I said "yes" as high as you want because Rod is 6' 4"! When I met Rod on July 17, 2010, I thought he was a kind and caring man. He openly excepted me as his sister n law. He was just like a brother to me. I will miss him!

Thanks Rod for being my brother, and my dear and closest friend. Thanks for your love and support when I needed it. Thanks for being my best man at my wedding. I was proud to have you at my side. This is not good bye. We will meet again in our Heavenly Home, prepared for us by our Heavenly Father. Until then, I will miss you.

One of the smartest and most intelligent persons I know. Very popular in high school. Solved mathematical equations while eating. Very family oriented and loved his granddaughters immensely.

Rodney will be remembered for his wit, charm, generous spirit and of course his lively discussions on the news of the day. He touched many lives here at Bay with his kindness. Not only was he a great employee but he was a friend to all and will be greatly missed. Thank you Rodney for being a part of our team. God Bless you and your family.

Rod was a great conversationalist – anything from politics to a good deal at the grocery store. Always one to give a compliment – his favorite may have been “you’re a lady/gentleman and a scholar!” He fondly and regularly spoke of his daughters and granddaughters. So sorry for your loss, Stephanie and LeeAnn. I’ve worked with him for nearly 20 years and will miss him at the front desk at Bay. He will be missed by so many. As he would say to me every afternoon, “Kick your feet up, get some rest.” Rest easy, Rod ❤ -Judy

Rodney will be deeply missed. He always went out of his way to show kindness and was always so helpful. We will miss our conversations and seeing his smile when we walked into work each morning. He always was so positive and happy. Work will never be the same without him there. It was the greatest honor to know him. We are sending our deepest condolences to his daughters Stephanie and LeAnn. He always spoke so highly of his granddaughters. Sending love and healing prayers. Rest in peace Rodney, you will be deeply missed. -Kim, Johnathan & Gianni Pappas
