Obituary of Izzabella Grace McNair

Izzabella Grace McNair was born at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, Michigan on May 9, 2021.  She was the second youngest of six children born from the union of Tremayne Valdez McNair and Chanelle Marie (Spencer) McNair.

Bella or Bella Baby, as she preferred loved to cuddle.   She was especially fond of her siblings and momma, but she was a daddy’s girl all the way.   From her first word, which of course was Dadda to her daily interaction with him, high-fives, fist bumps, to bopping her dad on the nose and then lovingly smacking him on the forehead, they had a very special relationship.  When it came to nap time, Bella Baby grabbed her blanket and bottle and sought out her father to lay on couch to go to sleep.

She enjoyed her chippies and juice, loved dancing to music, and spending time watching her favorite show "Cocoa Melon".  Bella loved to be outside, and when she learned to put on her own shoes there was no stopping her from feeling the sun on her skin.  

Izzabella Grace McNair, age 2, of Monroe passed away on Monday; May 15, 2023, from injuries sustained in a house fire.  Her parents received great comfort in knowing that she was greeted at Heaven’s Gate by her paternal great grandmother:  Mary Lee McNair and maternal great grandfather:  Jimmie Lee Emery Sr, both of whom she met for the first time, and maternal great grandmother:  Beatrice Wilson.

To cherish her memory Bella leaves her parents: Tremayne and Chanelle McNair; maternal grandparents: Tina Spencer and Paul Spencer; paternal grandparents:  Janae McNair and Lonnie Ratliff; maternal great grandmother: Paulette Emery; three sisters: Mia Ann-Marie McNair, Liberty McNair, and Nataliyn McNair; two brothers: Tremayne McNair Jr., and Israel McNair; a host of aunts and uncles including maternal uncles: Paul Spencer and Jimmy Emery and paternal uncles: Emmanuel Ratliff and Neft Vazques; and paternal aunt: Carolyn Kyles; and many, many cousins.

Friends may gather from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday; May 20, 2023, at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe; 14567 South Dixie Highway, Monroe, Michigan 48161 (734) 241-7070.  A Homegoing Celebration of Her Life will take place at 12:00pm with Pastor Richard Massingill officiating.  Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle for burial.
