To the Pelkey Family I offer my sincere sympathy. Joe and I were not only friends during high school at Jefferson, after graduation we rode together to work at the Woodhaven Stamping Plant. When our time to serve our country came, Joe went to the Army and I found a 26 career in the Air Force. This caused us to lose tract of each other but I always wondered about Joe and how life had treated him. Then I saw that his younger brother, Dennis passed away. I have fond memories of the times we shared together while we could, like staying up all night drinking coffee at a 24 hour restaurant., or the time we took off for Kentucky to see a mutual friend. If I have such vivid memories of Joe from such a short time together, you must have millions of them. Keep them close to your heart and mind. God's peace and comfort to the family.
