Obituary of Clayton Louis Johnson II
Clayton Louis “Bud” Johnson II was born on May 10, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Clayton Louis Johnson I and the former Helen Sare. Bud graduated from Monroe High School where he played on the football team. He was employed as a Supervisor at Berner Trucking for many years. After retirement, Bud continued to work for his son’s trucking company. On July 2, 2021 Bud was joined in marriage to the love of his life, the former Charlotte Ann Ogletree. A loving and caring man, Bud always knew how to bring a smile to her face.
Anytime Bud had a free moment you’d find him cruising around Lake Erie with Ann and Katy, on his pontoon boat. A football fan, he cheered on the University of Michigan and Detroit Lions teams. Bud also enjoyed Detroit Tiger’s baseball. A friendly and outgoing person, he never met a stranger. Bud joked around often and his constant laughter was infectious!
