Obituary of Dianne Lorraine Orr

Dianne Lorraine Pratzer was born on August 28, 1958, in Wyandotte, Michigan. She was one of many children born from the union of Harvey and Betty (Roberts) Pratzer. Dianne graduated from Flat Rock High School with the class of 1976.

 

Dianne found her Prince Charming in Larry Orr. The couple had a special relationship and were joined in holy matrimony on March 8,1977,  in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were soon blessed with the birth of three children.   Dianne helped to provide for the needs of her family by becoming a certified medical transcriptionist.   She was employed by the former Oakwood Hospital System.

 

Dianne regularly attended worship at St. John Lutheran Church in Taylor for spiritual nourishment. In her free time, she enjoyed assembling puzzles of all types and sizes.  Being a patient individual, she even found the tolerance for the thousand piece one. Dianne always wanted the best for her family even though she often admitted to struggling with providing them needs over wants.   She truly cherished and treasured them during her life. 

 

Dianne Orr, age 74, of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Saturday; November 11, 2022 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.   Her passing was preceded by her parents and her husband.

 

To cherish her memory, she leaves a daughter:  Jacqueline Orr of Monroe, Michigan; two sons: Ron Pratzer of Arizona and Brett Grignon of Virginia; and many brothers and sisters.

 

Her care has been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe; 14567 South Dixie Highway, Monroe, Michigan 48161 (734) 241-7070. No public services are planned at this time and cremation has taken place at the on-site crematory, Covenant Cremation in Erie, Michigan.
