I never knew Charles personally, but I stayed at the hotel for a while and would see him working all manners of hours. He was always pleasant and seemed a good man. I am shocked and saddened to hear of his death and his surviving family, who have all been in my thoughts and sympathies for a few weeks now. I hope he peacefully rests while his family seeks a way forward.
