Wanda Diane Clark was born on November 29, 1958, in Monroe, Michigan. She was the daughter of Leonard and Alice (Orns) Clark. As a young girl, her father lovingly gave her the nickname “Ducky”. She worked a variety of jobs including serving as a cook at the Stadium Club restaurant and as a Hall Monitor at Monroe High School. She loved laughing, joking, and interacting with the students.

Her nieces and nephews lovingly called her “Aunt Goofy”, and her granddaughter called her “GG” which is short for Goofy Grandma. She also loved true crime novels and country music – especially Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn.
