Obituary of Dennis Young
Dennis Young was born in Harbor Beach, Michigan on April 18, 1956. He was one of nine children born from the union of John A. Young, Sr., and Patricia (Hebert) Young. He was educated through the Harbor Beach School System.
Dennis married the love of his life, the former Ruth Britt on September 27, 1984. The happy couple would be blessed with the birth of two sons. Dennis was a hard worker and provided for his family by being employed on the Assembly Line at Ford Motor Company.
Dennis was extremely extroverted. A real people person he struck up conversation with anyone he met and made friends easily. Dennis was always the first call for someone in need. He was generous with his time and willing to lend a hand.
Dennis loved the outdoors. He enjoyed a good old-fashioned bonfire. He was commonly found tending to the flames with and ice-cold Busch Light in his hand. Dennis enjoyed traveling to Northern Michigan with North Branch, Houghton Lake, Tawas, and Port Austin all being favorite and memorable places to set up camp. Dennis enjoyed listening to many genres of music. His favorite artists were that of Bryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen, however, he had been heard on occasion belting out the words to a Celine Dion song or two. His radio could often be found tuned to contemporary Country music as well.
