I met Bob in 1963 at a Court Dance in St. Mary's Park in Monroe. He was a "walking, talking "Fonzie":: making the "Happy Days" character come to life for me. I fell head-over heels in love with this kind, sensitive "older" guy. While he looked like a "bad guy" he was far from that. Bob took me out to meet his family, who lived in Grape, on the family farm. Family, they were all I thought they would be. Farmers and housewives who cared for small children. I remember Bob and his brother "Ledge" convincing me to drive their lawn-tractor. Me, who didn't really know a lot about driving a car. Really now. Yes it is fun to think back on. Bob and his brother had a good laugh over the "city girl" riding around on their lawn tractor. I also seem to remember my very first ride on the back of their "not so new" motorcycle. Being a part of Bob's life was always an introduction to new and wonderful experiences. My memories of Bob are now, only the good ones. 51 years later, tempered by time and getting to know those wonderful children that he and his soul-mate Pat have bought into life;I find myself blessed by a wonderful extended family. I love all the children, Robin, and Bob...Jamie, Jenine, Misty and J,J,...Pat is a gem to call friend,

We send our sympathy and condolences to the entire Boudrie family. Bob was a pleasure to spend time with and we enjoyed getting to know him. It was obvious that Bob believed in the values of hard work and family! While he had many accomplishments, perhaps the greatest is shown in the character of his children. He will be missed equally to the level he was appreciated while with us. Godspeed Bob. Thom and Carol Eory

We want to extend our prayers and condolences to the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as family and friends, who will miss the loving, caring, and smiling man, Robert M. Boudrie. Though short in stature, Bob was tall in kindness. While disease robbed him of time, the time he had left was well spent touching the lives of others over and over in unexpected ways. He will be missed !

The loss of Uncle Bobbie is sad for those who are left. He had a great spirit and a good sense of humor. He always had a smile. Bob (Butch) always loved telling exploits of times when Uncle Bobbie or Uncle Tom lived with the family. Good funny and admired!! Hope you feel the love of family as you endure your loss!! Lesta

There is only one person lucky enough to have the enduring name of "Spanky" given to him by his uncle. Uncle Bobby has always been special in my life from when we used to watch "The Little Rascals" together through my adult life. I loved his sense of humor and caring ways. I will miss him greatly but so glad he was in my life.
