Obituary of Kristen Redli

May 12, 1971 - August 23, 2014 Kristen Lee Falkenberg was born on May 12, 1971 in Trenton, Michigan. She was one of three children from the union of Jean (Kipf) Falkenberg and the late Dean Falkenberg Sr. Kristen graduated from Monroe High School in 1989 and received her spiritual nourishment at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. Kristen married the love of her life, Steven Redli on April 20, 1991. She helped support her family as a sales manager at Bon Worth women's clothing store in Monroe. Kristen had a quiet sprit about her and loved to help others. She was outgoing and liked to travel, especially to Frankenmuth. Kristen cherished the time spent with her nieces and nephews at family gatherings. She indulged in her favorite weekly television shows and in her quiet time, Kristen liked to snuggle up with a good book and her favorite canine companion, "Star." Kristen Lee Redli, age 43, of Monroe, passed away at 12:00am midnight on Saturday, August 23, 2014. In addition to her father, her passing was preceded by her nephew: Justin Redli. To cherish her memory, Kristen leaves her loving husband of twenty- three years: Steven Redli; two sons: Garrett and Cole Redli of Monroe; her Mother: Jean Falkenberg of Monroe; two brothers: Dean (Deborah) Falkenberg Jr. of Albion and Jeffery (Martha) Falkenberg of Monroe; many nieces and nephews; and many great- nieces and great- nephews. She will Lie in State at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Monroe at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 with a Celebration of Her Life to follow at 11:00am with Reverend Larry Loree Jr. officiating.
