Rick Joseph Duvall was born on August 12, 1968 in Monroe. He was the son of the late Richard Duvall and the late Winnie (Vinoski) Duvall. Rick graduated from Monroe High School and continued his education receiving his Associate's Degree from Monroe County Community College.
Rick married the love of his life Merry Navarre on August 26, 1998 at the Chapel of the Glen in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Rick was a hard worker and supported his family as a Millwright at Ford Motor Company.
Rick was highly intelligent, had a great sense of humor and was very generous lending a helping hand to those in need. He was a wonderful father and loved his girls very much. Rick had a love for cars, especially the GTO and antique Farmall tractors. He appreciated the great outdoors camping, fishing, hanging out at the beach and snowmobiling.
Rick Joseph Duvall, age 45 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2014 at home. His passing is preceded by his parents; his grandmother: Mary "Nin" (Mike F.)Vinoski; and his uncle: James F. Vinoski.
To cherish his memory, Rick leaves his wife of 16 years, Merry Duvall; four children: Amber (Brandon) Jonseck of Florida, Heather Ryckman of Milan, Rachael Duvall of Maybee and Breanna Duvall of Maybee; and four grandchildren: Haylee, Noah, Ian and Reed.
Friends may gather Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe, (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His life will take place at 11:00am on Monday, August 11, 2014 also at Merkle's with Pastor John White officiating and Pastor Dale Kauffman co-officiating of Milan Free Methodist Church. Procession will follow to Marble Park Cemetery.
