Obituary of Fred Soto

Please share a memory of Fred to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Fred Soto was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 23, 1964. He was one of five children born from the union of Willie and Virginia (Aguirre) Soto. At the age of seven, Fred's family moved to Michigan. He attended Monroe Schools. For more than eighteen years, Fred was employed by the Chrysler Corporation at their Trenton Engine and Warren Truck plants. He married the love of his life, Paula (Wylie) Soto on October 19, 2005. Fred was a loving husband and an awesome father always putting the needs of his family first. He cherished the time that he spent with the "babies" calling them daily and begging for his "dad" day. Fred was known for his helpful and generous spirit, and his love for life. He enjoyed spoiling everyone around him. Fred also liked to keep a smile on everyone's faces by being quite the jokester. He was the ultimate "Grill Master" having a special five hundred pound drum turned into a trailer becoming a "party" on wheels. Fred had a special place in his heart for Titan a.k.a. Ty his cat that he affectionately called "monkey", and often said, "Daddy loves you!" Next to family and friends was Fred's love for Harley Davidson. He somehow found a way to accessorize almost everything with the familiar Harley shield. Fred was lovingly known for his O.C.D., and his daily ironing of clothes and even his stained work uniforms. Fred had attended Hope Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the UAW Local in Trenton. Fred Aguirre Soto, age 50, of Monroe passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Illinois. His passing was preceded by a brother: Rene in 2006.
