Please share a memory of Susan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Susan Kay (Betts) Griffin was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 4, 1957. She was one of three children born from the union of the late Norman Betts and the late Celest Miller. After graduating from Jefferson High School, Susan honorably served as a member of the United States Army, earning the rank of Sergeant. Susan's outspoken personality permitted her to express herself freely. She enjoyed spending time with friends. As an avid marksman, Susan looked forward to spending time at the shooting range. She also enjoyed singing karaoke and playing bingo. Susan loved to cook and would spend hours in the kitchen creating her favorite meals. Family was most important to Susan. She was a dedicated mother who fought for her special needs daughter. When Sally was young, Susan was an advocate for extended funding not to be cut for special needs children. She cherished the moments she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
