Obituary of Rosemarie Taylor
Please share a memory of Rosemarie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rosemarie Taylor was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 12, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Wayne Eugene and Vera Pauline (Preston) Taylor. Rosemarie was a 1976 graduate of Bedford High School.
She married Lewis Custer and from this union would come the birth of three children. For many years, Rosemarie served her family as a homemaker, a responsibility that she truly cherished. Rosemarie was well known for her exceptionally clean house. She enjoyed the outdoors and tending to her yard; maintaining beautiful flowers and gardening. Rosemarie fostered her love of flowers by being employed many years at Brock's Greenhouse, and also spent time in the fast food industry.
Like most grandparents, Rosemarie enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Rosemarie also had an extensive collection of "cows". To say the least her collection was a fascination among all of her children's friends. The children kidded that "if it was black and white she had to have it". Rosemarie was also an animal lover and she had a huge heart for her feline friends. Surprisingly enough she even had two cats that happened to be black and white.
Often with a cup of coffee in hand, she was strong willed and determined when she made up her mind, and she usually got her own way with those beautiful long blonde locks.
Rosemarie Taylor, age 56 of Temperance passed away at 4:46pm, Thursday, May 22, 2014. Her loving family was at her side and she had been under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by her loving companion: Donald Clark in 2013.
To cherish her memory she leaves three children: Melanie Custer of Toledo, Christopher Custer of Temperance, and Nicole Custer of Toledo; a step daughter: Misty Clark of Lima; three brothers: Frank Taylor of Monroe, Dan (Rose) Taylor of Erie, and Brady Taylor of Monroe; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
