Donna always was an Angel on Earth to me and my family. Nothing but love and positivity from the beautiful person she always was and will continue to be in my heart. So many fond memories of fun-filled afternoons in her home with Doug, and Donny, Beth ... all centered around Donna's warm smile, welcoming personality, and fantastic cooking. Love and prayers to the entire family. Donna is in a better place, but we shall miss her so much. Until we meet again, Donna. Much love! --Leon Shaner

To the entire Stewart family - I can't begin to tell you how deeply saddened I am to hear of Donna's passing. My fondest memories of her are her smile and her infectious laugh. No matter where I may have seen her, she was always sure to stop me and say Hi and do a little catching up. She left your lives almost 2 years to the day that my mother Norene left mine, also of cancer. I have no doubt that as Donna made her way to the Church Triumphant, Mom was greeting her with a big hug, telling her "Well done, good and faithful servant!" To Doug - our moms are together now, having fought the same good fight. I know that it doesn't make things any easier for us left behind, but what wonderful memories we have of these 2 amazing, strong, powerful and loving women. Please if there is anything at all that I can do, let me know - we can walk this path together. Know that I will be holding all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

The Stewart family: We are so sorry for your loss. I did not read the Sunday paper until late Monday and was not aware of her passing until then. I have known Donna for many years. I worked with her and she was an inspiration. Doug cut my hair many times. She was a friendly and outgoing person. She will be missed. Again we are so sorry for your loss. God be with you.

To the Stewart family. Donna was the friend you could go a year without talking to and pick up the conversation where you left off. Donna always had a room for me when I came to town. I spent many hours at her dining room table with her and her family and friends and it felt so natural. I felt like I was part of her family. Thank you Lord for letting me be friends with such a special person with a special family.

To the entire Stewart family, I send my deepest sympathies on the passing of your wife, mother, and grandmother. The entire Stewart family was always so kind and welcoming to me as I was growing up, living right down the road. I was at your house on a regular basis, and not one time did I ever feel not welcome. You would keep me for meals, for sleep overs, and I always knew I had your support. Mrs. Stewart, thank you for raising your family with such a kind heart. - Love and prayers, Christian

Roy, Lee, Doug, Beth & Donnie, We were so sorry to read about Donns's passing. I had just sent her a card last week. We worked together many years at MGU & I remember coming to your house for the group hair cuts by Doug & the Hobo dinners, etc. We were like sister in the fact that we were close but we had our spats, just like sisters. I feel bad that we didn't get together as often as we use to in recent years. I always remember Donna's strong faith. We would talk about dying & Donna would tell me that I should keep the faith & don't be afraid. That stuck with me. I remember when we dressed up in costumes & visited Doug at the salon he worked at on Alexis Rd. in Toledo. I know Donna loved to have a lot of people around & her doors were always open to everyone. May she rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy.

Thank you mom Stewart, for always leaving your door open to me as a child and as an adult. You and your family welcomed me to take a seat at your table and enjoy your wonderful holiday feasts on many occasions. Even when you felt bad after being in the hospital, you still put your beautiful smile on so I could visit you, your infectious laugh still music in the room while we recalled younger days. I will think of you often and remember you with a happy heart that I was allowed the gift of having known you. May you find peace and comfort in the arms of God, and may your family find comfort in the memories you've made and in the hearts of your loved ones. Love, Amy (Dimeff) Robinson and girls
