Obituary of Rylee Lynn Willis
Rylee Lynn Willis was the first child of the union of her father, Joshua Allen Willis and her mother, Winter Nichole Laura. Rylee was due to be born on April 29, 2022 and mom and dad were looking forward to the joy of the birth of their daughter. It was sure to be a busy home as Rylee would be joining her pets, daddy’s dog, Chevy, momma’s dog, Willow; grandma’s devil dog, Bahamut; and hamster, Freya.
Rylee was very active in utero often kicking her momma’s belly to remind her she was there. Momma was all too compliant by rubbing her belly and talking to Rylee regularly. Rylee enjoyed her daddy’s soothing touch as she never kicked when his hand was near, but she didn’t like sharing the belly with Willow as she would kick the pup in the head if Willow dared to lay her head in momma’s lap. Rylee was particularly active when her momma ate, although she was not fond of chicken alfredo or Walmart pulled pork. Thanks to Rylee, momma, made frequent trips to the bathroom!
Rylee Lynn Willis was stillborn into this world at 25 weeks gestation on Monday; January 17, 2022 at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital, in Toledo, Ohio. Rylee would be greeted at Heaven’s gates by her great-great grandparents; her Papaw, Larry Willis; maternal great papa: Gerald Peariso; and materal uncle: Jerry Peariso.
To cherish what might have been, Rylee leaves her beloved parents: Joshua Allen Willis and Winter Nichole Laura; maternal great-great mimi: Sally Southworth; maternal great mimi: Brenda Peariso; maternal mimi: Theresa Dionne; maternal papa: Russell Young, grandma: Cheryl Willis; paternal aunts and uncles: Meranda (Jake) Myers, Jamie (Steven) Hendershot, Larry Willis Jr. (Angela McKenzie), Sarah Williams (Dustin), maternal aunts and uncles: Chy Young, Russell Young III, Russell Goodale, Amber Smith (William), Edward Dionne (Tiffany Bomia), and Hunter Peariso (Patricia Romanowski); and numerous cousins.
