Obituary of Lawrence Everett Lapointe
Lawrence Everett Lapointe was born in Monroe, Michigan on September 1, 1948. He was the son of Leroy Lapointe and Betty Jane (McMullen) Lapointe. He would attend Lincoln School.
Larry had worked in several restaurants over the years and had also been a laborer in the Steel Industry for National Galvanizing. In his early 30’s he took a medical retirement due to losing his eyesight.
Larry loved to listen to country music. He enjoyed working with his hands and tinkering with the radio and television. He was an avid sports fan enjoying his hometown, Detroit teams including the Tigers, Pistons, and Red Wings. Although, he was kind-hearted and generous, and liked to help others, he wasn’t confused with any saints since he could be grumpy from time to time.
For the past fifteen years he had made his home with Mary Jo Lovell whom had served as his caregiver.
