Obituary of Carrie Lynn Ingels
Carrie Lynn Ingels was born on April 21, 1974 in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of three children born from the union of Lionel Oscar Ingels and Janet Ann (VanDevelde) Ingels. Carrie attended Monroe Public Schools graduating from Monroe High School in 1993. She was raised in the Catholic Church attending worship at St. Michael the Archangel in Monroe.
A lifelong Monroe resident, Carrie spent many years employed in the fast food industry. Most recently she had worked as a server for Burger King. Carrie enjoyed spending time outside and going for walks with her dog. She also liked fishing, casting a line wherever she could. When she was relaxing, she loved to curl up with a good book usually focusing on reading mystery stories. She also enjoyed watching movies.
Carrie had been valiantly battling a cancer diagnosis for several years. Along her journey she had met two very special individuals, Debra Osentoski a Registered Nurse and Jeannie Yonkee a Licensed Social Worker both at ProMedica Cancer Center. These two professionals became more than caregivers to Carrie, and in fact were very trusted friends. Because of this special care the Ingels family is deeply appreciative and grateful.
