Obituary of Patrick Joseph Pearigen
Patrick Joseph Pearigen was born in Napa, CA on March 19, 1965. He was the youngest child of Howard and Lorraine (Quick) Pearigen. Pat would attend and graduate from Hannibal High School where in grew up.
At the age of twenty-one he enlisted in the USAF serving as an aircraft mechanic. He loved his military career and worked on various aircraft, but his favorite was the A-10 Warthog. It was during his time in the Air Force that Pat met the love of his life and future wife Stacy, also a veteran. Although he wanted to make it a career, he was honorably discharged from active duty after seven years due to downsizing. Following military service, Pat would take employment with Ford Motor Company as an auto worker. He worked at various locations for twenty-five years but was currently at Flat Rock Assembly Plant where he built the Mustang.
Pat was a devout Christian, and he truly was a godly example for so many to look up to. He loved his church that he attended at Monroe Missionary Baptist. Pat was totally self-less and was a true servant always putting the needs of others above himself. His greatest work was his children and grandsons. Also, his daughter in law and son in law were just like his own. He loved people and was good to everyone.
Pat was just extremely gifted in his ability to be able to repair just about anything. He loved Ford vehicles and especially Ford trucks.
Fun-loving, hardworking, gentle was just a few of his many qualities. We referred to him as the dog whisperer and baby whisperer because he knew how to handle dogs and babies loved him (he had a special bond with his grandson, Justin).
He had the ability to make others feel special. There is no way to describe how amazing he was. He was the world’s best husband, father and grandpa!
