Obituary of Teresa Boudrie

Teresa was born on June 23, 1971 in Trenton, New Jersey from the marriage of John Boudrie Sr. and Mildred (Wing) Boudrie. She had attended Jefferson Schools. Teresa had a passion for life. She enjoyed serving others and worked as a waitress and server for several different local establishments. Some of her former employers included Johnny Joes, Big Boy, Big Bear Lodge, and Subway. Her family warmly recalls her passion for life followed closely by a passion for food and eating. It could probably be assumed that a passion for eating led to employment in food service. The company of others was always something Teresa cherished. She looked forward to family get-togethers and just the opportunity to hang out with friends. Raising her five children was extremely important to Teresa as well. She appreciated the time that being a homemaker required and was able to balance these responsibilities with those of working outside the home. She had attended Gospel Baptist Church in Waltz. On September 13, 2004 she married William D. Orozco in Monroe. Theresa Lynn Boudrie, age 37, passed away on Friday morning in her home in Frenchtown Township. Although unexpected, her passing was peaceful. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family including: her husband of four years, William; five adoring children: Ashlea Marie Boudrie, Alyssia Ann Boudrie, Matthew Howard Graham, Jr., Angela Delfina Orozco, and Audriana Louise Orozco all of Monroe; a beloved paternal step grandmother: Shirley Boudrie of Monroe; a special brother: John Boudrie, Jr. of Monroe; and her close friend and former spouse: Matthew Graham, Sr. of Monroe. Her passing was preceded by her father on July 2, 2008, her mother on October 14, 1998, and a sister: Lisa Marie Boudrie in 1972. Friends may gather from 4:00 pm until a Celebration of Her Life at 7:00 pm, Monday, September 29, 2008 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, Frenchtown Twp, (734) 384-5185. Pastor Keith T. Schuster of Gospel Baptist Church in Waltz will officiate. Cremation rites will follow through Southern Michigan Services, Livonia.
