Obituary of Jonathan Robert Collins

Jonathan Robert Collins was born on December 19, 1990, in Trenton, Michigan.   He was born from the union of Billy Collins and Dolores Diaz.   Jonathan would attend and graduate from Monroe High School with the class of 2009.

One of Jonathan’s passions was playing video games.   Having many great game ideas himself, he aspired to be a designer one day.   Jonathan always enjoyed his hunting trips that were spent in Mio.

Jonathan would never miss an opportunity to play a friendly game of paintball.  In fact, he assisted in building a paintball course on the Diaz Greenhouse grounds with his aunt Patty.  He also enjoyed traveling, particularly adventures with family and friends at Torch Lake.  Annually, they set up camp appreciating each other’s company and the beauty of their surroundings in the great outdoors.   Above anything, Jonathan treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.

Baking cheesecakes was something Jonathan took great pride in doing.   Since “nailing it” on his first try, the decadent desserts were his “go to” treat for family and friends.
