Judy Marie Fiedler was born in Monroe, Michigan on December 2, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Vernon Fiedler and Rosemary (Carr) Fiedler. Judy married James Reinhardt on September 29, 1979 at St. Ann's Church in Monroe. As a homemaker Judy's heart belonged to her family she proudly raised her three children. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother. Judy loved to have her husband and children near and cherished the time she spent with them. When the children were young, Judy spent countless hours being a Cub Scout Den Mother and T-ball coach. She was a very giving woman, helping anyone she could with her time, talents, and treasures. Judy had a great sense of humor. She never missed an opportunity for a good laugh, and was often known to be a jokester. She had also enjoyed playing softball in her free time. Judy spent many years working outside the home as well. She worked as a journeyman carpenter through Local 1301 now 687. Some of her carpentry experience included Fermi, Detroit Edison, the Detroit People Mover, and the Outlet Mall on LaPlaisance Road. Recently, she had been employed at the Pilot Station. Judy Marie Reinhardt, age 55 of Monroe, passed away at 11:37am, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Mercy Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, her passing was preceded by a sister: Barbara Walkmeyer. To cherish her memory Judy leaves her loving husband of thirty-four years: James Reinhardt of Monroe; one daughter: Tonya (Andre) Pearson of Monroe; two sons: Robert (Yvonne) Fiedler of New Troy, Michigan and Donald Reinhardt of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; two sisters: Vivian Fiedler of Farewell, Michigan and Nancy (Mark) Hammon of Columbus, Ohio; ten grandchildren: Paris, Asia, India, Nativity, Legendary, Rosemary, Trista, Robert Jr., Martre, Nedavia; and eight great grandchildren. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, March 9, 2014 and from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Merkle Funeral Service; 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 also at Merkle's with Pastor Dennis Bux from Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle for burial.
