Please share a memory of Judith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Judy Ann Moore was born on December 7, 1980 in Monroe. She was the daughter of Gary and Karen (Russeau) Moore. Judy attended Monroe schools graduating from the High School in June of 2000. She entertained guests at her wedding shower in July and was joined in marriage to the love of her life, Jeremy J. West on August 26, 2000. Judy loved working with children and was a mother figure to many boys and girls. She supported Jeremy and his ministry through the Salvation Army serving as a Senior Soldier, working with the teens; as a Sunday School Teacher, leader of the Girl Guard and Boys Explorer. Judy could be found helping wherever she was needed and even sang in the Praise Band. Judy was small in stature but most certainly was big on personality. She was very feisty a real "firecracker". Judy also filled a large role at home taking care of her five children. She was loving and caring, extremely active and always "going". Judy had a great sense of humor and was often the center of attention. Judy Ann West age 33, of Monroe passed away at 3:35pm, Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Her passing was preceded by her grandparents. To cherish her memory she leaves her loving husband of thirteen years: Jeremy West of Monroe; mother: Karen Moore of Monroe; father: Gary Moore of Monroe; five children: Amber Brown of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Ashlynne West, Eric Moore Jr., Domanick West, and Amelia Rose West all of Monroe; sister: Susanna (Ken) Smelcer of Redford; brother: Eric Moore Sr. of Belleville; father and mother-in-law: James and Rosemary West of Monroe; two grandchildren: Amelia and Kamron Brown; and numerous Godchildren.
