Obituary of Marcia Lee Hass
Marcia Lee (Faunce), 82, of Petersburg, died Monday, November 30, 2020, at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, Ohio.
Born August 27, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio. Marcia was the daughter of Orson and Lucille (Rosselit) Faunce. She was a graduate of Burnham High School in Sylvania, Ohio. Marcia married Robert Hass on June 9, 1956 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Sylvania. Robert passed away on May 17, 2018. She worked for the Catholic Diocese of Toledo, for thirty years as a secretary. Marcia loved spending time with her family, especially cherishing her relationship with grandchildren and great grandchildren, and watching their sports and horse shows. She loved little trips to the zoo, Shipshewana, Sauders Village, and Frankenmuth. An avid reader she loved John Grisham books, and had thoroughly appreciated being a member of a book club, courtesy of her daughter-in-law Barb.
Survivors include her children, Robert (Barb) Hass, Christine Hass, Mary Kaye (Gordy) Heck, and Wendy (Dave) Komorowski; five grandchildren, Teagan Hass, Ashley (Kevin) Snyder, Justin (Danielle) Heck, Katelyn (Todd) Hodge, Andrew (Amanda) Edelbrock; ten great grandchildren, Owen, Cole, Reese Snyder, Emme, Waylon Heck, Aubrey, Ellie Hodge, Mason, Lucas, and Elaina Edelbrock; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, Jimmie Clarkson, Lucille Christophono, and several brother and sister-in-laws.
The Hass family are greatly appreciative and would like to acknowledge granddaughter, Ashley Snyder, for being the family angel, and caring for mom at the end because no one else could be there.
