Obituary of Deborah Louise Campbell

Deborah Louise (McDaniel) Campbell, age 61, of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Thursday; July 1, at her home.   She was born on May 9, 1960, in Monroe, Michigan to James and Alice “Lou” (Hubbard) McDaniel.   She was one of three siblings.   She attended Monroe High School graduating in 1978.

On March 14, 1985, she married David Campbell.   The couple would be blessed with two daughters and, Deborah, would stay at home to care for their needs.

Debbie was a loving, dedicated wife, and mother.   She enjoyed traveling, spending time, and making memories with her family. She especially loved their yearly family trips to Disney World.   Debbie was talented in drawing and enjoyed listening to country music. She also was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.   She loved animals.

Her passing was preceded by her father James McDaniel; mother:  Alice (Hubbard) McDaniel: father-in-law:  Jack Campbell; sister:  Diana Moore; and nephew:  James Libstorff.

Deborah will be missed by all of those that knew her.   She leaves to cherish her memory her husband David Campbell of Monroe; two daughters: Kelly Campbell  (Tommy Mills),  of Monroe and Kaylee Campbell (Jason White) of Monroe; one sister:  Donna (Wayne) Libstorff; one brother:  James (Debbie) McDaniel Jr; her two four legged canine companions:  Zack and Evie, and feline friend:  Kiesa.  

Friends may gather on Friday; July 9, 2021, from 1:00pm until 7:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe; 14567 South Dixie Highway, Monroe, Michigan 48161 (734) 241-7070.   A Funeral Service Celebrating Her Life will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Mark Witte of Grace Lutheran Church officiating.
