Your Father was a Great Man, A Great Man... I'm sorry I was not there in the end, it would have been very painful for me, and now it still is... To all the extended family, and his children, you already know how special he was, and I am very Honored to have known him and cared for him in my heart as he is a Great Man... Thank You Sir, Jerry was a father to me, he even said I was a son to him. Not by blood, but in all the other ways. He was a Great Man. He took me out of reform school in Elko Nevada, and I lived in his home. As a kid I went threw hard times, but Jerry helped me. I am also a ham radio operator, K7ZAR/WA7QZB. The last time I spoke to him was in 2011, he was in Arizona. I hope he hears me in heaven when I say thank you sir, thank you for taking me to father and son of the LDS church in 1972.And thank you for being a magnificent person, and taking me to your work microwave site across northern Nevada. Because of Jerry I later went into US Navy Electronics.. Thank You, Your other son, Gregory

Jerry is one of the kindest, funniest and caring man that I’ve had the privilege to know. His love for his sweet wife, kids and grandkids always beamed from him as he would share memories and funny stories. He loved Scouting! He loved his family! He loved the Lord. He will be missed! - Nate S.
