Allen always considered himself to be the Detroit Lions number 1 fan supporting the team through thick and thin. Annette quickly learned the sport of football through Allen’s love of the game. Working on vehicles was second nature to Allen and he proudly working on his Dodge Ram truck. He loved to remodel and renovate bicycles and would often fix the neighborhood children’s bikes for them, but most of all Allen loved going for rides on his Suzuki motorcycle. Allen enjoyed spending time with his father and grandfather sitting around savoring different cigars. Allen was blessed with a beautiful voice and among his many hobbies included singing karaoke especially songs like “Fly” by Sugar Ray and “Lola Montez” by Volbeat. He enjoyed fishing for any species of fish, playing Black Ops Borderlands with his brothers, watching history documentaries and became a self-proclaimed “History Buff” remembering the dates of numerous historical events. He loved dogs especially his rescue dog, a three-legged American Bulldog “Petie”. He loved watching and supporting his stepdaughter: Aleeya during her softball playing days and was her biggest fan. Allen loved food and some of his favorites were beef chimichangas, fish and chips, Mediterranean foods like lamb and hummus and loved his superman and strawberry ice cream! Allen and Annette would often watch cooking shows like Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen then Allen would try and recreate the food at home.
Allen was known for his easy-going personality, how he never worried about what others thought of him, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his unique ability to always make others smile.
