Obituary of Emma Marie Cuculich

Emma Marie Fittabile was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 5, 1925.   She was one of three children born from union of Italian immigrants the late Gaetano Fittabile and the late Rosa (Tamburelli) Fittabile Emma was the first generation born in America.   She was raised in a Catholic home and grew up in Detroit where she was also educated.

Emma would marry Matt Cuculich on October 6, 1951.   For many years, she worked production for Chrysler Automotive.  

Emma Marie Cuculich, age 96, passed away at Cambrian Assisted Living in Tecumseh, Michigan on Wednesday; May 26, 2021.   In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by her beloved husband:  Matt on September 14, 2003; her brother:  Silvio Carl Cuculich; and her sister:  Angelina Florio.

Friends may gather on Sunday; May 30, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church, 460 Riley Street, Dundee, Michigan 48131.   A Worship Service Celebrating Her Life will follow at 3:00pm with Reverend Jen Keifer pastor of the church officiating.   Private entombment will take place on Tuesday; June 1, 2021 at Oakland Hills Memorial Park in Novi.   Merkle Funeral Service, Dundee; 297 Tecumseh Street, Dundee, Michigan 48131 (734) 529-3156 has been entrusted with her care.
