Obituary of Donna Jachyra

Donna Jachyra was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 19, 1955.   She was one of five children, a daughter, born from the union of Chester Jachyra and Lottie (Gaska) Jachyra.   Donna attended Osborn High School graduating with the Class of 1973.  

Following graduation, Donna, would make her way out west.   She would spend several years traveling making her home in Nevada, Washington, and California.   She would make her way back East settling in Virginia thirty years ago.   Once settling into her new home in Virginia she would take employment at a local lending institution where she would serve for fifteen years as a sorter.   In her free time, Donna, enjoyed crocheting.  

Donna Jachyra, age 65, of Arlington, Virginia passed away on Sunday; April 25, 2021 at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia.   Her passing was preceded by her parents.

To cherish her memory she leaves four siblings:  Elaine Jachyra, Kathleen (Rick) MacDonald, Toni Jachyra, and James (JoAnn) Jachyra; a niece:  Kristy (Joshua) Bush; a nephew:  Brian MacDonald; and a great nephew:  Dean Bush.

No public services are planned.   Inurnment of her cremains will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township at a later date.   Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street; Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185 has been entrusted with her care.
