Obituary of Gerald Campbell

Gerald “Jerry” Campbell was born on April 13, 1966 in Toledo, Ohio.   He was one of 2 children born from the union of Timothy Campbell and Noretta (Norris) Davis.   Jerry attended Monroe  High School and graduated with the Class of 1984.   After graduation, he furthered his education by attending courses at Monroe Community College.

For the past thirty-two years, Jerry, would be employed by the Blackmore Company working as a technician for the horticulture and greenhouse business.   It was at this job, he would meet his future wife, the former Colleen Foucha.   The couple would be joined in marriage in Toledo, Ohio on June 16, 1998.

Jerry was a self-proclaimed, but well known among his peers, Motor-Head.  He proudly owned a 1967 Blue Ford Mustang for over thirty-five years, which he passionately took apart and rebuilt.   It was jokingly said that Jerry had spent more money rebuilding that car than most people will make in a few years working a steady job.

Jerry and Colleen would occupy a seasonal space at “Loveberry’s Funny Farm”, in Pioneer, Ohio for more than a decade.   Jerry purchased the largest towable camper he could because he preferred “glamping” versus camping.

Gerald “Jerry” Campbell, age 54, of Petersburg, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 11, 2021 while working in Punta Gorda, Florida.   His passing was preceded by his stepson, Anthony Miletich in 2014.

To cherish his memory, Jerry leaves his wife of twenty-three years:  Colleen of Petersburg; a daughter: Erica (Timothy) Fish; three sisters: Amanda (Scott) Feaganes, Dawn Loveberry  and Carol Campbell; and two grandchildren:  Ayden Fish and Peyton Fish.
