Obituary of Prabhakar Joshi

Prabhakar Joshi was born on October 11, 1933 in Wadwal, India. He was a son to Shesharao and Subhadra Joshi.

A simple man with lots of love, Prabhakar was no stranger to hard work. He tended to and labored over his governmental duties as a village development officer, on the family farm when he visited his native place and around his house and community most of the time.

As a kind and generous man, Prabhakar was always ready and willing to assist those who needed his help.

Above anything, Prabhakar loved and took great pride in his family, farm, and his native village, Wadwal (N) India.

Prabhakar Joshi, age 87 of Monroe passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family on January 15, 2021 at 1:00am. In addition to his passing, he is preceded by both of his parents.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife of over Eighty-one years: Pramila Joshi; one son: Balaji Joshi; four daughters: Geeta Joshi, Smita Deokar, Ruta Joshi, Surekha Kulkarni; one sister: Maina Pande; one brother: Vasant Joshi; nine grandchildren: Saloni, Vishwas, Rupal, Tirth, Vivek, Vidya, Vardhini, Anjali, Ajinkya; three great grandchildren: Eileen, Advait and Sarvesh.
