Obituary of Darrell Thomas Morrow

Darrell “TJ” Thomas Morrow, age 54 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 12, 2020 in Monroe, Michigan. Darrell was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 17, 1966 to John and Clemmyestene Morrow. Darrell graduated from Monroe High School in 1984.

After graduating high school, Darrell attended Michigan Christian College in Rochester, Michigan. He then enlisted in the United States Navy in 1988, later accepting an honorable discharge.

Darrell was employed at various jobs, including National Galvanizing and Ford Motor Company in Milan, Michigan.

Darrell’s proudest moments were being with his family and friends. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and cheering on his favorite team, The Ohio Buckeye.

Darrell leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Jody Leslie Morrow, of Monroe; four sons: Christopher Michael Morrow, of Cleveland, Ohio, Aaron Thomas Morrow, of Toledo, Ohio, Trey Austin Parson and Terrell Darius Parson Morrow, both of Monroe; three sisters: Tawonia Morrow of Toledo, Ohio, Casandra Crawford and Tonya Taylor, both of Memphis, Tennessee; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

His passing was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Friends may gather from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe; 14567 South Dixie Highway, Monroe, Michigan 48161 (734) 241-7070.   A Celebration of Life will follow with Pastor Heather Boone of The Oaks of Righteousness officiating.
