Jan was more than a secretary at IRS in AA although she was the best at the job. She was our beloved friend, party planner, and a bright spot in every day. She was so proud of her children and always spoke highly and lovingly of you, Scott. Missed our luncheon in AA this summer with the retired women from the office. Our prayers are with you.

Jan and I worked together in Ann Arbor since 2006. Filling similar roles, and having similar backgrounds, we had much to share through the years. Since she retired in 2018, we exchanged many personal emails and her visits to the POD always brightened our day. May she rest in peace and may the family be comforted knowing how many people Jan helped through the years. She had an enormous heart.

My lunch buddy even after she retired we made sure that we would meet for lunch once per month. During COVID we made sure that we spoke every other week.
People often wondered how we could be such close friends coming from such different backgrounds. We simply loved each other for who we were. We had a lot in common actually. We both loved our family, took care of our mother’s and loved sharing stories about our children.
I am grieving a huge loss.
Rest with our Father in Heaven Mrs. Jan!
I love you always❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I knew Janice in the Ann Arbor IRS office. She was the glue that held things together! Always smiling and cheerful. Great organizer of parties. For my retirement luncheon, she made a divine diabetic friendly cake! I appreciated her talents and regard for others.

My heart is sad, there are no words. 63 is way to young. I knew Janice and the May family from living in Maybee, St Joes, playing ball ... a lot of good memories. Thoughts and prayers for the families. We all will be together again. Oxoxoxo
