Obituary of Sharon Kay Theisen
Sharon Kay Howes was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 1, 1951. She attended and graduated from Fordson High School in Dearborn, Michigan. Soon after commencements, Sharon became interested in selling homes and soon became a real estate agent, working for Century21.
Sharon met John Theisen and after a very brief courtship, they married on July 7, 1994.
Enjoying all of nature’s creatures, Sharon loved gardening. She would plant and painstakingly tend to flower and vegetable gardens, annually. Rose of Sharon and Lilac were two of her most favorite flowers to plant as they attracted butterflies and hummingbirds.
Sharon also became engrossed with her family tree and the genealogy behind discovering her long lost relatives. It was stated her family tree resembles a Sequoia tree.
Sharon treasured all animals, but especially cats and dogs. She often would volunteer at the Humane Society and foster animals until they were adopted with fur-ever homes. Sharon owned and operated a pet sitting business named “Furry Friends”. This business allowed her to feed and entertain pets for families who could not take their pets on vacation with them.
Sharon Kay Theisen age 69 passed away at her home surrounded by her family and friends on Thursday September 3, 2020 at 9:06a.m. In addition to her passing, she is preceded by her parents.
To cherish her memory Sharon leaves her husband: John Theisen; one son: Michael Douglas Howes; one sister: Sandy (Chuck) Campeau; one grandson: Evan Michael Howes; and her best friend: Sharon Nagy.
