Obituary of William J Bronikowski

William James Bronikowski was born on June 25, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan. A twin, William was the youngest of five children born from the union of Benedict Bronikowski and Florence (Dziewit) Bronikowski.

William was employed as an Operator Technician with the General Motors Company for twenty-two years prior to taking a medical retirement.

William met the love of his life, Kimberley (Bonner) Bronikowski, and the couple were married in Normandy, Tennessee on July 29, 1994.  They would blend their families and together were blessed with four children.

Prior to getting sick, William loved to fish, tossing a line in the water whenever and wherever. He also was an avid boater and enjoyed water skiing.   William would frequently take his children camping so he could share his passion for the great outdoors.   These camping trips always seem to include lively card games of Rummy and Uno.

William was born with gifted hands and was a natural handyman.   He was always eager to help others and was willing to share his expertise and talents.   He was constantly in his garage tinkering and piddling around, surely, repairing or building something.

William also would be granted the gift of gab.   He knew how to carry a conversation, and he could be counted on to share a tall tale or two to anyone willing to listen.   He loved all things fast and sleek and had a passion for motorcycles and cars.   In his free time he often took jaunts to the zoo..., and oh my did he love the zoo.   He took great delight in watching the gorillas and monkeys.

William James Bronikowski, age 66, of Newport, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital with his devoted wife and youngest daughter  by his side.
