Obituary of Ruth Daniel

April 9, 1934 - January 9, 2014 Ruth Daniel was born in Pleasantview, Kentucky on April 9, 1934. She was one of several children from the union of the late Acey Bolton and the late Flora (King) Bolton. Ruth was a graduate of Lincoln H.S. in Monroe, Michigan. Ruth was a hard worker her entire life. She supported her family as a receptionist at the Monroe Senior Center where she retired. As hard as Ruth worked, she believed in having just as much fun. Ruth was a sharp-witted lady with a great sense of humor. This combination won her the affection of many that knew and loved her. She was an avid animal lover and cared for many pets throughout the years. Ruth had a very active social life. She loved to play her hand at Euchre and sing along to country music. In her quiet time, Ruth enjoyed her favorite soap opera, the Young and the Restless, and game show, The Price is Right. Ruth Daniel, age 79, of Monroe, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Lutheran Home of Monroe. In addition to her parents, her passing was preceded by several brothers and sisters. To cherish her memory, Ruth leaves her children: Brenda Joyce Daniel of Toledo, Linda (Dean) Kerste, Glenda Boudrie and Dale Miller all of Monroe; five grandchildren: Candace Czarnik, Jacob Czarnik, Kassie Kidder, Christopher Kerste, and Miki Kerste all of Monroe, and her beloved cat Charlie. Cremation has taken place through Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle Michigan. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
