Margaret Mary (Snider) Leppek was born in Remus, Michigan on April 1, 1925. She was one of five children from the union of the late Ernest Snider and the late Ida Bell (Oliphant) Snider Bender During the war, Margaret worked at a dime store and Diesels. After the love of her life, Louis Leppek, returned from WWII, they were married on March 2, 1946 and she became a farmer's wife. They were married 60 wonderful years. Always the selfless homemaker and mother, she watched over her family who were very precious to her. Even in hardships, Margaret always found a way to see the bright side. She loved to garden and canned her own food. Margaret was a member of the School Board of Columbian School. She enjoyed word search and played bingo at Monroe Senior Center. She also spent many happy hours visiting with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and was happy to have a great-great-grandchild.
