Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. Lonnie was a treasure to my parents. (Ina & Virgil). He brought them both so much joy and I know he will be greatly missed by them. You and your family are in our prayers. ❤️ Amy

I remember thinking it's a small world when I found out that our dads worked for the paper mill. My dad lived to be 90. We were lucky to have our dads so long considering their jobs. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Losing your father is hard, but it must be harder without physical support. With love, your little sis from HFH, Bonnie Berns Thompson.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone right now! I feel terrible as I just now read the obituary and found out that way. Mom(Frances) is in the skilled nursing facility after breaking her leg. I will try to look for phone numbers to contact Kathy. My sincere condolences.

The lessons I’ve learned from Grandpa
1. A generous amount of Chyanne pepper goes with everything.
2. Heirloom tomatoes are the best tomato for blt’s.
3. Lemon peel can be eaten.
4. A message roller should always be at arms length for use by the recliner.
5. The beach is meant for running on.
6. 2 pounds of raisinnettes are an appropriate amount of candy for the movie theater.
7. Cars are meant to be driven by an 8 year old. Come on, I know all you grandparents have allowed it.
8. You can never have too big of a garden in a city back yard.
9. It’s ok to take 2 hours to make breakfast for your spouse at 90...what’s the hurry.
10. Pray
