Here's a picture of Mark when we put the boat away for the season last year (notice the Dream Cruise t-shirt). Little did I/we know it was our last of a 40 year run of boating. He was one of the best mechanics, technician and provided engineering input on many projects both we and he was a part of. His knowledge and support will be missed by many. The two things that will be missed every year: 1) Monroe County Fair Truck and Tractor pulls. Over 20 year tradition 2) Getting the most unique Christmas Card. Something I looked forward to every Christmas. I hope in your final resting spot, you will look down some day in one your favorite events the Woodward Dream Cruise and see your Camaro. You will have every right to say "Hay, I built that, from the ground up". Rest In Peace Mark, you deserve it!

A very recent photo taken with a group of Mark’s racing friends last November at the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame Banquet. Mark always has been and always be a charter member of Team Checkmate Race Cars and his contribution to our success will NEVER be forgotten. RIP my friend and you are, and will continue to be, very sorely missed..
