Obituary of Cheryl Diane Sertage
Cheryl Diane Russ was born in Trenton, Michigan on December 24, 1970 to George and Diane (Horton) Russ. Cheryl was one of three children from this union.
After graduating from High School, Cheryl would attain an Associates of Science degree from Monroe County Community College. This degree would lead her to work her passion as a Respiratory Therapist for twenty-five years total, however, her last ten years she would be employed as a Respiratory Therapist at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn.
Cheryl had an obsession for collecting pens. She always found an opportunity to “snatch” one when possible. She also was a fan of sprinkles since she would put them on everything.
She also had quite a sense of humor, she was always ready to tell a joke or play one on her family and friends. Family was very important to Cheryl and she enjoyed taking care of them. Cheryl was outgoing and friendly and would do anything necessary to help someone in need. In fact, she never met a stranger, and would do anything for anybody, even if they did not directly ask her for help.
Taking pictures was her forte’, in the past ten to twelve years, Cheryl has taken over 70,000 pictures of her family and friends. Reading romance novels and coloring in adult coloring books was something Cheryl enjoyed in her quiet time.
Every year, as her birthday came and went, Cheryl would never get older as she would always tell everyone she would forever be twenty-nine.
