Obituary of Jack Ourlian
Jack Ourlian was born on June 28, 1962 in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of four boys born from the union of the late Edward Ourlian and the late Catherine (Piros) Ourlian. After graduating high school he would attend college to continue his studies.
Jack was a true handyman, and he wasn’t afraid of hard work. He was best described as quite the loner and was happy to work alone. For nearly twenty years he enjoyed being a self-employed “house flipper”; supporting himself by buying old dilapidated houses, tearing them apart, and making them into new beautiful homes.
Jack enjoyed hanging out with his few select friends. One of their favorite pastimes was to visit the speedway. While they were there it was certain that they would enjoy some ice-cold beverages.
Jack was the doting son to his mother as well. For many years he took care of her needs, her home and her yard.
Jack Ourlian, age 57, of Monroe passed away at 10:59am at his brother’s home on March 4, 2020, after a short battle with lung cancer. His passing was preceded by his parents.
To cherish his memory, Jack leaves three brothers: Edward (Connie) Ourlian, Henry Ourlian, and Samuel Ourlian; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and one special friend: Marc Butt, who was always present, not just to visit, but to assist with his care as his health declined.
Private graveside services will be held with inurnment at Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle, Michigan. Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185 has been entrusted with his arrangements.
