Frank Carroll

Obituary of Frank Carroll

Frank Carroll was born on January 31, 1951 in Jellico, Campbell County, Tennessee.  He was one of eight children born from the union of the late Newt Carroll and the late Lillie (Parker) Cable.   Frank attended school in the Downriver Area and graduated with the Class of 1969 from Trenton High School.

Frank was very intelligent and was a master of many trades.  For many years he was employed as a Millwright for the Ford Motor Company.   He retired in December of 2018.

Frank loved to travel, touring old homes and historical places such as the Henry Ford Estate and the home of Edison and Ethel Ford.   Many of these excursions were with his sister Betty and older brother Jimmy.   They thoroughly enjoyed their jaunts together.   Frank was very gifted with his hands.   He was a talented woodworker and passionately completed numerous projects.   He was also quite fond of working on cars.   Somehow, Frank, found the time to become a pilot.  He spent countless hours in the cockpit of small planes.

Frank loved listening to music.  He was a country music afficiondo and as a young man he taught country western dancing.
