Gary Steven Gall was born on February 12, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio.  He was the son of the late Herbert Gall and Theresa (Miller) Gall.   He was a member of the 1978 graduating class from Airport High School.

Gary was known for his kind spirit.   He was quiet and kept to himself, appreciating peaceful solitude.  Gary was extremely passionate about being outdoors.   He enjoyed camping and spent many hours relaxing up north, especially valuing the time spent at the family cabin in Hawks.  As a young man, Gary, often liked to go fishing with his brother Kevin or his best friend Marty.

Watching and riding in airplanes was another pastime of Gary’s.   His love of flight guided him more than anything else.  Based on the time of day, Gary, could often name certain planes in the air based on their flight path.   He received much companionship from his dogs.  Gary had a love for music and for some time had performed as a singer in a local band.   He had a heart of gold and along with his brother had spent the past few years providing care to their mother.
