Obituary of Christiane Marie Muhleck

Christiane Marie Aubreit was born on July 8, 1935 in Metz, France.  She was the only child born from the union of the late Rene’ Aubriet and the late Jermaine (Nicolas) Aubriet. Christiane received her High School Diploma in France. For many years she was and was employed by the United States Military as an office worker in France.  In 1956, she would move to the United States and make Monroe her home,  where she was married to her former husband, Richard Muhleck. From this union, would come the birth of a son.  She took employment as a Nurse Aide at Beach Nursing Home for several years and then spent 13 years at the Lutheran Home, retiring in 2000.   As a devout Christian with strong values, Christiane received her spiritual nourishment attending Christian Missionary Alliance in Monroe.

Christiane had a sweet spirit about her, always having kind and thoughtful words of encouragement for others.  Her way of life was, “If you can’t say something good, don’t say anything.” 

Christiane Marie Muhleck, age 84, of Monroe passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at her home. She was under the care Elara Caring Hospice.  Her passing was preceded by her parents.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved son Patrick (Michelle) of Monroe; and her significant other, Tom Bailey.   

Friends may gather for a graveside service at 3:00pm on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Park, 13200 South Dixie Hwy, La Salle Michigan 48145 with Frederica Hanmore of Stewart Road Church of God officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe: 2442 North Monroe Street Monroe, 48162 (734)384-5185.
