Christopher Collier

Obituary of Christopher Bryant Collier

Christopher Bryant Collier was born on October 14, 1984 in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of two children born from the union of his parents: Donald J. Collier and Cheryl L. (Talley) Collier. He received his education by attending Monroe High School.

Christopher enjoyed being outdoors and spent countless hours fishing. He had a talent for drawing and could excel at any video game he ever played. He liked to cook for those he loved and wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to grill anything outdoors. Though he never liked to follow a recipe, everything he cooked always tasted good. He adored his boxer dog: Spike and they had many adventures together.

Above anything, Christopher enjoyed time spent with his family and remained close with his parents and sister throughout his life. He loved to spoil his children and cherished time spent with those he loved most. His beautiful smile and loving nature are just a few things that will be deeply missed by his family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. There will forever be a void in the hearts of his family and friends.

Christopher Bryant Collier, age 34 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by his family.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his parents: Donald and Cheryl Collier; his children: Tristan Collier and Marlee Mahan; his sister: Renee (Steven) Collier-Rusnak; his nephew: Stephen Rusnak and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. In accordance with wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time.
