Obituary of Sharon Kay Taylor

Adrian - Sharon Kay Taylor, age 71, of Adrian, Mi, slipped out of this world and left behind her body of pain to be with the Lord and her family on Wednesday 18 July 2018. She was born 22 November 1946 in Dundee to Carl Frederick & Mildred Irene ( Bolster) Spaulding. She married Harry Vernon Taylor, Sr. In Milan, Mi on 14 September 1964, they were married thirteen years, in this union they had two sons Harry Vernon Taylor and Bryan Guy Taylor. She later moved too Mesa, Az in 1982 too be followed by her son's a few years later. While working at Motorola she met and married James Ira Ponder. They were married for fifteen years. After retiring from Motorola in 1999 she returned home to Michigan to be with her mom and family. Sharon loved to collect and make Jewelry and sold it at events. She liked to plant flowers in her yard and cook for her children and grandchildren. She was a loving, warm and giving person. She lived for her two sons and her grandchildren, her boys were her world and was always there if needed. She loved to laugh and just enjoy life. In her last year's she bravely battled physical limitations due to complications of numerous orthopedic surgeries. She handled these limitations and unbearable pain with strength from her son's and her faith with determination of unseen proportion. She is survived by her two sons Bryan ( Tereasa) Taylor of Adrian, Harry ( Liza) Taylor of Mesa, Az. Two grandchildren Joe Taylor of Belleville, Mi., Jason (Krissy) Taylor of Coolidge, Az. Four great grandchildren Jaxon, Shelly, Arleigh and Leiland of Coolidge, Az she is also survived by nine siblings Lila (Bill) Butts of Adrian, Ernie (Sue) Spaulding of Dundee, Tom (Sheryl) Spaulding of Ridgeway, Carol (Tom) Ashley of Ridgeway, Barb Armstrong of Adrian, Brenda Spaulding of West Unity, Oh, Carl Spaulding of Morenci, Ricky Spaulding of Jasper, Richard (Amy) Spaulding of Morenci and a sister-n-law Mary Spaulding of Milan and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents and a brother James Spaulding of Milan. Visitation will be held Monday 23rd of July from 3 to 8 at Cover funeral home in Dundee, funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday 24th July at Calvary Baptist church of Dundee located at 318 Riley street. Officiated by pastor Brown. Internment will be at Oak Grove cemetery in Dundee Mi.
