Obituary of Carolynn Bordine

Carolynn Bordine, age 67, of Dundee, Michigan, passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, February 1, 2018. She was born in Highland Park, Michigan October 17, 1950 the daughter of Maurice (Bill) and Vera (Gheldof) Satterfield Sr. She was a graduate of Lapeer High School. She had worked at Pine Tree Elementary School in Lake Orion as a secretary. After moving to the Dundee in 1995 area she started working at Dundee Community Schools Cafeteria then became a secretary at the Dundee Elementary School. She worked a total of 18 years at Dundee retiring in 2016. She married Tim Bordine June 23, 2012 at their Dundee home. Over the years she was active with her children as a Girl Scout Leader and band booster. She is survived by her husband Tim; daughter Jeanette (Robert) Evans; sons John (Nicki) Taylor and Joseph (Kerri) Taylor; brother Maurice (Bill) (Joyce) Satterfield Jr; grandchildren Cooper, Abigail, Brylee, Alvia, Camdyn, Mason and Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call Monday from 2-8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). She will lie in state Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 10:30 AM until Mass at 11 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Milan. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Dundee.
