Obituary of Lala M. Rugenski

Lala M. Rugenski, age 84, of Dundee, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at her home following a long illness. She was born in Detroit, Michigan July 26, 1933 the daughter of George and Emma (Kiser) Peterson. She was raised in Detroit and graduated from David MacKenzie High School in 1952. She was employed at Saline Community Hospital as a phlebotomist and had also worked as an aide at Dundee Community Schools. She is survived by sons Michael (Sandy) Rugenski of Virginia Beach, VA and Bill (Patty) Rugenski of Milan, and daughters Cynthia Rugenski of Dundee and Carole (Kevin) Johnson of Maumee, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, I great-grandson and sister in law Jane Peterson. She was preceded in death by a son Mark Rugenski in 2012 and her brother Ross Peterson. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has been held . Friends may call from 10 AM until 11 AM memorial services Friday , January 5,2018 at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). Officiating will be Rev. Tobin Tidswell, former pastor of the Dundee Assembly of God. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
