Obituary of Barbara J. Goodridge

Barbara J. Goodridge, 81, of Dundee passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 17 2017 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was born in Washtenaw County, Michigan on August 6, 1936 the daughter of Reuben and Ruth (Wheeler) Guenther. She was raised in Milan and graduated from Milan High School in 1954. She married Franklin D. Goodridge January 2, 1956 at Corinth, Mississippi. Sadly he passed away June 2, 2015. She loved spending summer months at the family cabin near Kalkaska and wintering in Florida. She also loved travelling, dancing, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Dundee senior Citizens Center. Survivors include 2 daughters, Rita (Jack) Fiser and Diane Goodridge (Mark Loss); 4 grandchildren Jeff (Maria) Fiser, Jill Fiser, David O’Lone and Kelsey (Brandon) Damron; 2 great-grandchildren Kristi and Katie Fiser; also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Friends may call on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 10 AM until Memorial Services at 11 AM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156) Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Olsen. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
