Obituary of Wanda Delaine Peles

Wanda Delaine Peles, age 69, of Dundee, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Corbin, Kentucky on March 27, 1948 the daughter of Jay and Helen (McCowan) Lay. She married Gerald L. (Jerry) Peles October 25, 1968.She was a Dundee resident since 1968. She graduated from Lynn Capp High School in Corbin, Kentucky then graduated from beauty school. She worked at University of Michigan Building services from 1994 until 2003. She had previously worked at Manchester Products and Peerless Gear. She is survived by her Husband Jerry, son Conrad of Kentucky; her mother Helen O’Brien of Sylvania, Ohio; sister Fran Martin of Chelsea, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her father Jay Lay, step-father Donald O’Brien and a sister Shirley Farris. Memorials services will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, 318 Riley Street in Dundee. A funeral luncheon will be served at the church immediately following the services. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held.
